Its my party!!!

September 2, 2011 - Oh what a night!!! I haven't hung out with friends in a very long time and this celebration was so great and deserving!! There were really good friends, great weather, yummy food and tons of laughter!! I haven't laughed like that (except with Greg) in a long time - it felt great!!
It was a small get together just a few friends and my sister. We would have done something bigger but this was nice!! There is still so much time left to celebrate life and that is what I plan on doing - maybe not to the extent of that night - but I plan on making the best of a lot of stuff in the future!! I have been given a 2nd chance on making me a better person. I wasn't all that terrible in the past but there are little things in life that we take for granted!! I plan on not taking so much for granted and trying to live life to its fullest!! I'm pretty sure I will have my not so "full" moments due to tiredness from treatments and radiation but I think you get what I mean!!
I need to make a point to thank Kathleen McAuliffe, she was the hostess with the mostess!!! For this I am grateful - not only for the party but for all the help and support she has given me and my family!! Kathy and my sister go way back and I believe after the initial phone calls to my parents - Kathy was my sisters first call for help!! And Help she did - all the way through!! So, thank you Kathy - you are a true Angel!!

Back to the party!! There were 5 of my close friends, my sister and a few other friends from different times in our lives. I didn't realize how much it meant to have them there - I look at the pictures and Thank God and each one of them for their different contributions to getting me through this time in my life!! From phone calls to pool dates, lunches, dinners, cards and conversations in parking lots - they all meant the world to me - and celebrating this Life with me!!! It was great!! There were a few missing from that night - I wish they could have been there but life still happens and they couldn't be - know you were thought of and know that I will continue to celebrate and be a part of your lives as much as you are a part of mine!!!

I'm so happy to have beaten this and continue to do well - I know that with the support that I have received in the past and continue to receive to this day - I can pretty much get through anything!! Thanks again to my friends and family, Greg and my kids, without all of you - I don't know where I would be right now!!! Love you all - Keep Smiling!!!
