HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my friend MARY!!!!!!

Ok, now...yesterday I sat and cried....my hair seems to be thinning, ever so slightly but its happening!! I know, its just hair!! Let me ask you this, if it was just YOUR hair, would you feel the same??
Now that I have let that out - I have this to say, it IS just hair and it WILL grow back and as long as this is what is supposed to happen - then I guess this means the meds are working!! Right??
On another note - my sister and I (and those who know my sister, know she is as insane as I am) have decided that instead of just scarves and hats............temporary tattoos!!!!!!!! THAT IS SOOOO COOL!!!!
I can have a new look all the time!!! I think it will be an "at home" kinda look but a totally fun way to brighten my bald headed days :)
And in keeping with my "positive" attitude, my good friend Lori said to me yesterday, It could be worse, and here's the story she shared.....she was in the hospital after having her son....she got to go home but had to leave her son at home and go back for an infection. A friend of hers brought her new born baby to visit and as they were leaving(Lori was staying) Lori was sobbing, and if ya know Lori.....SOBBING!!!! (love ya lor) Anyway, this woman walks past her room and says to her....."What are YOU crying about?" and Lori, choking through her tears gets out, my baby is going home and i have to stay......boo hoo hoo right??? Well yeah, as a new mommy - thats the worst thing in the world, so yeah!!! So this woman, total stranger, says to her....."is he healthy" YES "are you gonna be fine" YES then what are you crying about, I'm 42 years old just had a stroke and can barely walk on my own.....wanna trade places?????

Well, the lesson here is, REMEMBER - there are always situations, whether we know about them or not, that can be a million times worse than ours!!!
I'm gonna be ok - I'm gonna be bald, tired and crabby but I'm going to be ok!!!!
My health will return with my strength and my hair too :)
