So, if you would have told me 5 years ago that one day the Love of My Life would come home, wake me up and offer to shave my head.....BALD....I would have told you to go somewhere not so pleasant. But, in fact, it has happened!!! I wasn't gonna post the picture that my daughter HAD to have but I figured, why not?? I'm still me - as Greg keeps telling me and so I am!!!
You don't really realize- even just a little bit of hair - keeps your head kinda warm....brrrr....my heads a little chilly - COME ON SPRING!!!! I not only need heat but some tan on my Uncle Fester Bulbous Head would be nice!!!! C'mon - thats funny.....I should put a light bulb in my mouth and see if it lights!!! Ahhhaaa - oh wait - I don't get radiation - just chemo :)
So from what I can tell..another bout with Shingles..yes..Round II
This time though - I feel sores on my tongue - WTF!!! And it would seem that there are more "blistery" spots than before - this might be because the previous ones haven't fully healed and they just look like theres a million but its not just on the right side they have taken a stroll to the left as well!!! Thank you Chemo for shrinking my lumps and nodes but all these side effects can really make a person INSANE!!!!!!
Ahh - don't get me wrong - I am SOOO Thankful that I am responding to the chemo as well as I am - please don't think that I'm not - but look- I have Cancer - is that not enough for now!!! I seriously can't imagine what others go through in worse shape than me...my next fear is that with the next 3 treatments I have to go through - are there going to be even MORE side effects??? UGH!! I can't wait to be cancer - free and that my friends is what I am looking forward to accomplishing within the next 8 months!!
