A New Home...

Alrighty then, I suppose I started to write this with the intent of posting it much sooner but did not even get it started - other than a title!!
Yes, a new home - I guess my lack of posting was due to our New Home. If you had said to me a year ago - this is where you will be - I would have thought you were insane!! Well - back in March - I would have thought you were insane....but here we are - in our new home and there is soo much to do!! The house itself is great!! Well, everything is great!! I just never realized how much work went into a house - not the "fixing up" stuff but the daily routine of a house - the yard - the front - the back - the everything and I LOVE IT!!!!
So, aside from the daily routine of things, and making my way through the past year with all the ups and downs and side effects and what have you - I honestly believe - and I may be over thinking - but I honestly think I have some form of adult ADD...now, I can not be positive but here's the example of why.........I get up in the morning, go for coffee, see the dragon tank, go to them, look in the laundry room, start a load, go back to the coffee, remember the dragons, see the laundry room, go to the bathroom, check my email, (in different rooms) - oh, get my coffee, oops, feed the dragons. By now - I've been out of bed for a whole 10 minutes or so.....is that normal?? Could it be a side effect a year later from chemo - how long does "chemo brain" last?? I was actually told - 2 or so years...REALLY!!! Sometimes I feel like I can't remember anything - and I forget to write things down because I think I will remember...UGH!!!!!
So with all that being said, I am very thankful for all that I (we) have in our lives....its amazing what a year can do for a person and thankfully I am here to talk about it and get crazy about stuff and still be able to function on a daily basis - I won't say every day is a beautiful picnic but it is what it is and I will take it - ups and downs and all......Keep smiling :)
