Ok, lets start with OOPS!!! I had every intention of getting back to once a month writing but I seem to have dropped the ball. I guess you could say thats a good thing, I'm busy and there really hasn't been much to write about "health" wise! So, yeah - thats a good thing.
Well, it's another New Year and another set of goals to be made and either kept and done successfully or forgotten about in a week, month or more! I have tried to be a "nicer" person. I am trying to not complain so much - laugh ata the little things and really enjoy time. I have found that the longer my title of "Survivor" is the better my mood/attitude seems to be. I still get worried - pains, numbness, just your general BS that may linger in a survivors head - I truly believe that never goes away...but it does get better - I am LIVING proof!!
In the past 6 months I have been told by 2 people they have been diagnosed. One of those people asked for help, which I hope the help I gave was comforting and informative. I'm no expert but experienced. The other is a long ago co-worker. This is where is really bothers me - this is her 2nd diagnosis, she survived it once so I really hope she's got enough fight to do it again!! C'mon, my friend, you can kick ass again!!!!
So in other news, to get you caught up with the Raboni/Pipolo household. Greg was in the hospital for pancreatitis, which in some sort of way was a blessing in disguise, this has made us all change our way of eating. I try to cook better meals and eat a bit healthier. I have changed jobs, I now work 1.2 miles from home, right across the street from the kids school. Robert is working a couple days a week at the McDonalds down the street and Sammy is pluggin along with helping her momma in any way she can, after the rolling of the eyes, deep sigh and occasion aguement. But all in all - we are all doing well!! Taz (the pooch) is as wonderful as always - more and more spoiled each day!!! And that might be about all I have to tell anyone for right now.
If you could all just say a quick prayer for everyone who is ill and battling something, Lord knows there are so many, major and minor battles out there but every little prayer is a push in the right direction.
THanks All!! Much Love!!
